United for a Good Cause creates and leads youth leadership events across our area — conferences, summits and special events built for students.
Nine of them have been held so far. They have taken place at the Costa Leadership Institute, at Striving for Perfection Ministries, at the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast in Fort Walton Beach, and at other locations around the region.
More than 350 local students have taken part. They have heard from speakers who came from right here at home, from around the region, and from other countries.
Our most recent event
“Help Them Choose Hope” was a youth suicide prevention awareness event. Students heard from Emma Benoit, followed by a screening of the award-winning documentary “My Ascension.”
If you or a young person you know is struggling, help is there.
